Psalm 40:3 - "He has put a new song in my mouth - Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord"

God deserves our highest praise, and through our music and worship ministry the whole family can make a joyful noise to our God. We have numerous ways for you to get involved.

Celebration Choir: This is a non-auditioned group of men and women, from high school senior & up, who come and create a wonderful sound through singing in order to lead our congregation. The Celebration Choir leads worship during both the 8:00 am and 10:45 am services. We meet to rehearse at 6:30pm on Wednesday nights in the choir suite.  As a part of the Celebration Choir, you are also able to participate in the Florida Worship Choir for the Florida Baptist Convention. We also attend workshops, worship expos and have recorded our own CD’s.

Celebration Orchestra: This is an auditioned group of men and women who play instruments in order to lead our congregation in worship. Whether you’ve been playing all your life or a little rusty from those high school days, we want to hear you. We rehearse on Wednesday nights at 7:45pm and Sunday afternoons at 5:15pm. If you are interested in joining the Celebration Orchestra or want to sit in for a rehearsal, please call the Music & Worship office at (352) 694-2163 ext. 204 so we can have your music ready for you.

Praise Team: This is an auditioned group pulled from our Celebration Choir. This group is used both during our Sunday morning and evening worship services. If you are interested you must have an interview and audition with Pastor Andy.

Resonate: This is our student choir for grades 6-12. They rehearse on Sunday afternoons at 4:30 in the Adult Choir Suite and perform regularly on Sunday nights. They also typically go an a Summer Choir Tour, they’ve performed in New Orleans and recorded a CD with several other youth choirs in Orlando. This year they will be traveling around Central Florida. The Resonate Student Choir meets regularly during the school year.

Illuminate: Illuminate is for children from 1st to 5th grade. They meet on Sunday afternoon at 4:30 pm in the children’s department. The Illuminate Choir is led by Ashley Schroeder and Dianna Keister. They regularly perform on Sunday nights. They have a great time learning songs, motions and all the basics to help them worship more effectively. The Illuminate Choir meets regularly during the school year.

Captivate: Captivate is our youngest choir. They are 3-5 year olds. They meet on Sunday afternoon at 4:30 pm in the children’s department. The Captivate choir is led by Kim Leary, Ginny Parker and Rhonda Combs. The Captivate Choir regularly performs on Sunday nights. They have a great time learning songs and worshipping in only the way children can! Captivate meets regularly during the school year.

Tech Ministries: This is a group of people who run the sound and computer systems in the sanctuary in order to help lead our congregation in worship. Theyrehearse with the Celebration Choir & Orchestra on Wednesday nights at 7:45pm and Sunday afternoons at 5:15.
